Available courses

This course in Construction Management is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to effectively plan, coordinate, and control civil engineering projects from inception to completion. It focuses on the principles and practices of managing construction resources—time, cost, quality, materials, machinery, and human resources—while ensuring safety and sustainability.

Key topics covered include project planning and scheduling, site management, construction methods, contract administration, cost estimation, procurement strategies, quality assurance, health and safety regulations, and risk management. Emphasis is also placed on the use of modern construction technologies and software tools such as MS Project and Primavera.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to take on supervisory and managerial roles within construction projects, ensuring efficient execution and successful delivery of civil engineering works within scope, time, and budget.

This course is essential for aspiring civil engineers, construction supervisors, project managers, and site agents.

The Levelling Survey course in Civil Engineering introduces students to the fundamental principles and techniques used in determining and measuring elevation differences between points on the earth’s surface. The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of levelling, focusing on the use of levelling instruments, types of levelling (such as differential, profile, cross-section, and fly levelling), recording data in field books, and reducing levels using methods like the height of collimation and rise and fall. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, error minimization, and proper handling of levelling equipment.

This course is essential for civil engineering projects such as road construction, building design, drainage, and topographical mapping. By the end of the course, students will be able to carry out levelling surveys, interpret levelling data, and produce detailed elevation profiles and contour maps for use in design and construction.
